Lilly and Hims & Hers expand access to Zepbound and Foundayo
Posted on November 6, 2026
Eli Lilly and Hims & Hers Health have entered an agreement aimed at expanding access to FDA-approved obesity medicines Zepbound and Foundayo through the Hims & Hers telehealth platform.
Under the agreement, eligible patients prescribed one of the treatments by a licensed provider through Hims & Hers will be able to access the same self-pay pricing offered by Lilly without leaving the digital platform.
Self-pay prices will start at $149 per month for Foundayo and $299 per month for Zepbound.
Patients will be able to complete a clinical consultation through Hims & Hers, receive a prescription when considered appropriate by their healthcare provider and have the prescribed Lilly medicine delivered directly to their home.
Zepbound, also known as tirzepatide, is an injectable treatment for obesity, while Foundayo, or orforglipron, is Lilly’s daily oral obesity medicine.
Ilya Yuffa, Executive Vice President and President of Lilly USA and Global Customer Capabilities, said the collaboration is intended to provide patients using digital healthcare services with a more direct route to FDA-approved Lilly medicines.
The agreement reflects growing demand among adults with obesity for access to prescription weight management treatments through telehealth services.
Hims & Hers said its weight management offering includes ongoing access to care teams, nutritional support, regular clinical follow-up and a digital weight loss community.
Andrew Dudum, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hims & Hers, said the partnership is intended to combine Lilly’s obesity medicines with the company’s digital healthcare infrastructure to make treatment more accessible to eligible patients.
The companies said prescribing decisions will remain independent, with healthcare providers on the Hims & Hers platform continuing to determine which treatment is appropriate for each individual patient.
As part of the agreement, Hims & Hers has also committed not to offer compounded copies of Lilly’s GLP-1 medicines.
The company said it has not previously provided compounded versions of Lilly’s GLP-1 treatments and will continue this approach under the partnership.
