Körber certifies ZETA’s INOSIM Foresight for PAS X MES data integration

Körber has welcomed ZETA as a PAS X Data Access Ready partner, enabling ZETA’s INOSIM Foresight software to connect directly with data from the PAS X Manufacturing Execution System.

The certification allows pharmaceutical manufacturers using both platforms to bring PAS X MES data into INOSIM Foresight for simulation, production planning and operational decision making.

PAS X Data Access provides unified and version controlled access to manufacturing data generated within PAS X MES, supporting its use in analytics and reporting applications.

Through the new integration, ZETA can use PAS X MES data without manufacturers having to rely as heavily on manual data preparation.

The companies said this can provide production teams with a more current view of activity on the shop floor, helping them adjust schedules dynamically and identify potential bottlenecks earlier.

INOSIM Foresight is designed to translate production requirements into optimised shop floor schedules, supporting manufacturers as they plan and manage day to day operations.

The PAS X Data Access Ready certification also provides shared customers with a predefined connection between PAS X and INOSIM Foresight, which ZETA said could reduce both integration effort and project risk.

Lars Hornung, Senior Principal Alliances and Technology Partners Software at Körber Business Area Pharma, said open and interoperable digital ecosystems are becoming increasingly important for pharmaceutical manufacturing.

He said connected systems can help manufacturers make greater use of operational data and support more data driven production environments.

He said the certified connection between PAS X and INOSIM Foresight can help convert production targets into optimised schedules while supporting more reliable execution.

The addition of INOSIM Foresight expands the number of solutions certified through Körber’s PAS X Data Access Technology Partner Program.

Körber said the programme forms part of its wider effort to make PAS X MES data easier to use within the digital tools manufacturers already rely on for their daily operations.
