Xcellerex™ XDR-500 MO single-use fermentor system is specifically designed for growth of microbial cultures. The system delivers comparable performances with stainless steel fermentors, while adding the benefits of using disposable fermentor bags. In XDR-500 MO, the culture is contained in a robust disposable bag assembly. The jacketed heat-transfer surface of the vessel encompasses the full-opening door to provide efficient heating and cooling. High oxygen transfer rates are enabled by strong and efficient agitation provided by a powerful drive, a multi-stage impeller, and high gas flow rates (up to 1 VVM). To prevent leakage, the impeller is magnetically coupled with no rotating seals. A modular system design improves functionality and operational efficiency. The flexibility that comes with the single-use technology enables effective utilization of your equipment and high operational throughput. XDR-500 MO is part of the Xcellerex scalable, single-use fermentor platform with working volumes ranging from 25 L to 500 L.
