Micro-Flow Imaging™ combines the direct imaging capabilities of digital microscopy with the precise control of microfluidics. This image based approach allows for direct particle characterization with an 85% sampling efficiency. MFI features a fixed optical magnification matched to the depth of field of the flowcell which gives MFI excellent size and count information with full morphological detail for all particles in your sample. MFI’s highly sensitive detection threshold is ideal for detecting translucent particles, like protein aggregates, and the morphological parameters MFI measures allows you to accurately differentiate between different particle populations in your sample. MFI platforms come in two different size ranges. MFI5100 for the characterization of particles ranging from 2-300um and MFI5200 for particles ranging from 1-70um. Scale up for routine testing is available with the Bot1 Autosampler. Bot1 handles sample loading, analysis, and washing for up to 90 samples and improves standardization of the technique in the process.
