8th CNS Drug Delivery Summit 2026

Long regarded as one of the greatest barriers to successful CNS drug development, brain delivery is entering a new era of clinical validation. Following FDA approval of Denali’s Avlayah and encouraging progress from Roche’s Trontinemab, the industry now has proof that blood-brain barrier (BBB) shuttle technologies can achieve meaningful CNS exposure for biologics.

This momentum is driving innovation across brain shuttles, targeted vectors, oligonucleotide delivery, focused ultrasound, intrathecal systems, and next-generation delivery platforms.

Despite this progress, key challenges remain, including improving brain exposure, demonstrating clinical translatability, optimising biodistribution, reducing toxicity risk, and scaling manufacturing.

As developers move beyond transferrin receptor targeting and explore novel BBB receptors, advanced imaging, humanised models, and innovative delivery approaches, collaboration is critical.

The 8th CNS Drug Delivery Summit brings together 100+ senior leaders across neuroscience, drug delivery, translational science, biologics, platform development, business development, and investment to accelerate the next generation of CNS therapeutics.
